Retired electrician, I began woodturning in the spring of 2023. I grew up in Aiea; class of 1976. Graduated UH Manoa with a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering in 1981. Currently (happily) divorced and reside in Coconut Grove, Kailua. I have one daughter who is a junior at Kailua High School. Turning is a hobby for me, I usually turn three or four bowls a week and give most of them away to friends. Everyone tells me I should sell my bowls but so far I have resisted the need to turn my hobby into another “job”!
